the secret of life

After a busy, hectic, too much on my tiny plate sort of week, we are headed to this place for a while.

I saw this quote the other day and I plan on making it ‘my theme’ for our time away:

“if you learn to use a perfect afternoon in a perfectly useless manner, you have learned the secret of life. -lin yutang”

Sending you peace and relaxation! -xoxo-

Reminds me of Asilomar (in Pacific Grove) and a respite there in January. Thank you for sharing the image.

Thank you so much for sharing your Eczema Fighting lotion, as my daughter has had this for years, and now my grand daughter has it in her hair, and she is 13 years old, do you have a way to apply this to her head and not leaving it greasy? As you know teenagers don’t like their hair messy. I would love to make some for her. Thanks for everything you a GREAT. Pat Herbel

Reminds me of a favorite James Taylor song: “the secret of life is enjoying the passage of ti-i-ime. . . any fool can do it, there ain’t nothing to it. . .Nobody knows how we got to the top of the hill . . .” and so on. Very sweet.
