Questions

What is the affiliate commission?
Affiliates receive 50% of sales of Simple Handcrafted Body Care.

When do affiliates get paid?
I pay affiliates between the 10th and 20th of every month for the previous months sales. So for instance anything purchased through your link in January will come to your Paypal account between February 10-20.

How do affiliates get paid?
I make payments via Paypal. You’ll need a valid Paypal account when signing up for the affiliate program.

Do I need to have a website or blog?
Nope, you can share your affiliate links via social media, email, or any of your online hangout places that allow it.

How do I promote your stuff?
There are so many ways to do it, but including the link in your blog post with a review is a great way.  A few more quick ideas: the signature line in your email, the sidebar of your blog, posting about it on Facebook, Twitter or your other favorite social media site, the possibilities are endless.

Where can I find badges and banners?
All graphics can be found below. If you don’t see the size you need email me: kendra@kendraspencer.com

After I signup how soon can I get started?
Immediately! Everything you need to start promoting can be accessed within your account.

Here are the basic instructions for grabbing your affiliate code.

  1. After joining the affiliate program (join here!) login to e-junkie.
  2. Click the “Affiliates” tab in the top right of the window.
  3. Then click “affiliate admin” in the horizontal bar just below the tabs.
  4. On the “Manage Your Affiliate Account” screen, click “Get affiliate code.”
  5. Select “A Sonoma Garden” from the dropdown menu (if not already selected).
  6. Then click “Get Affiliate Code” button just below.
  7. On the next screen, you will see a light orange box with what looks like a bunch of gobbley-gook in it. 🙂 (That’s HTML.)

What to do with that affiliate code:

You can highlight that whole box of characters and paste it anywhere HTML is accepted.

Alternatively, you can grab just the URL (web address) itself and use it like you would any other link for sharing. You can extract this URL from the HTML in #7 above. It is comprised of the characters between the first set of quotation marks (but not including the quotation marks). It will look something like this (with the XXXXXX being your affiliate ID): https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=105994&c=ib&aff=XXXXXX

And feel free to use the graphics below!

Simply right click on any of them and “Save As” to your computer. Insert the image into your site where you’d like it! If you want to attach your affiliate link to the image so people can click the image and be taken to the sales page, use this code (don’t forget your affiliate link where the XXXX’s go!):
<a href=”a href=”https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=232092&c=ib&aff=XXXXXX“><img src=”http://ImageLocationURL” /></a>
